Terms and Conditions

To open an account with Universal Arquati, please fill out and return a New Account Application. To establish 30-day payment terms with Universal Arquati, please fill in the sections for trade references and bank information. Allow up to 4 weeks for processing. Once approved, our terms are: 5% 30/NET 31


Payments are posted against the oldest balance. Checks returned to UA for NSF will be charged a $20 processing fee.


All COD orders will receive an automatic 5% discount off of the invoice. All applicable COD fees will be added to the invoice.

Credit Card

For your convenience, we accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. A 2.5% discount is given on all credit card orders (in lieu of 5% discount).

You may also make your invoice payment with a credit card before 30 days and still receive the 2.5% discount.

Minimum Order

Orders less than $50 will incur a $5.00 service charge.

Chop/Join Orders

Chop/join orders ship within 48 hours of placement (large volume orders will require more lead time). The preferred order placement process is via fax or email.

A 3% discount will be applied automatically to all chop and join orders submitted via fax or email. We will send verification of receipt of the order by return fax or email. Please include your account number on your fax or email order.

If you place your order verbally, it will be read back to you to verify accuracy. Please take this process seriously; once the order is read back, we consider it correct as written and we retain a copy of this written record.

Universal Arquati uses industry standard United Inches Chart to calculate footage. A packaging charge of $4.00 per joined frame will apply.

Universal Arquati will use 1/8" as "standard allowance" unless requested to do otherwise. The charge for routing is $5.00 per frame. Price includes routing and inserts.

Shipping Chops

FREE domestic FedEx ground shipping on chop orders of 5 chops or over $150 (COD and/or oversize surcharges not included. These will be added to invoice). Excludes joined frames.

Length Orders

Our length moulding is sold by the stick (approximately 6' to 10'). When placing orders please order your minimum footage required and we will ship the closest full-length stick increment. We will not ship less than your requested footage.

When ordering box quantities, moulding footage per box is approximate as indicated on the price list.

Special or custom orders will require a purchase order and 50% deposit.


All prices shown in price list are Net 31 prices. If you have established credit with Universal Arquati and pay within 30 days, you may deduct 5%, as indicated on your invoice.

Discounts are given by the quantity of order.

You may assort wood, Valucore, and Alliance Aluminum for respective quantity level discount.

Our "Special Box" program consists of mouldings that are deeply discounted and available to anyone who orders a minimum of 1 box. Box quantities cannot be broken for this program.

Although we will do our best to inform you of price changes, all prices listed are subject to change without notice.

Return Merchandise

Please notify Universal Arquati or your sales representative upon delivery (within 7 business days) if your shipment is damaged. Please be ready to tell us the nature of the damage. If your package is damaged by the carrier, call us and we will arrange for a replacement (if needed) and pick up of the damaged merchandise. Please note any potential damage on freight bill upon signing for merchandise.

Call Universal Arquati to arrange for inspection and/or pick up by the carrier. Please note that Universal Arquati cannot be held responsible for damage by freight carriers.

If your moulding is defective, please call customer service or your sales representative to make appropriate arrangements. Please have your invoice number ready.

All replacements will be shipped ground service.

Returns without a proper return authorization number (RA#) and partial stick returns (including moulding that has been chopped and/or joined) will not be accepted. Do not send any return back to Universal Arquati without authorization.

All special, custom, overstock, or discontinued items are "FINAL SALE" and not returnable.

Returns may be subject to a 15% restocking charge and require the customer to pay shipping charges back to Universal Arquati. No returns allowed after 30 days from the date of receipt.
